Registration
All U.S. citizens traveling to or residing in The Bahamas or Turks and Caicos Islands are encouraged to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. When you sign up, you will automatically receive the most current information we compile about the country where you will be traveling or living. You will also receive updates, including Travel Warnings and Travel Alerts (where appropriate). You only need to sign up once, and then you can add and delete trips from your account based on your current travel plans! Enrollment will allow the Embassy to know where and when you will be in the area. This allows us to: send you information about events that may impact Americans in the region; replace your passport if it is lost or stolen; contact you if your friends or family have an urgent message; and locate you in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.
