Information for Travelers

Registration

All U.S. citizens in The Bahamas are encouraged to register with the embassy. Registration allows us to: replace your passport quickly if it is lost or stolen; contact you if friends or family need to relay an urgent message; locate you in the event of an emergency or an evacuation. Contact the American Citizen Services unit to find out how to register.
