U.S. Chargé’s Courtesy Call with Prime Minister Christie and Minister Mitchell

The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, the Right Honorable Perry G. Christie and the Foreign Affairs Minister and Minister of Immigration, the Honorable Fred Mitchell, held a meeting with the United States Chargé d’Affaires, John Dinkelman in the House of Assembly meeting room on June 13, 2012.  It was the first official meeting between the United States’ top representative in The Bahamas and the new Administration.  The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss key bilateral issues facing the United States of America and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, including joint regional security efforts, strategic investment opportunities, and international policies that impact both nations.
