U.S. CITIZEN SERVICES

The United States Embassy in Nassau provides a range of services to American citizens who are temporary visitors or permanent residents in The Bahamas.  The American Citizens Services office is here to help with U.S. passports, notarials, federal benefits, and a few other specialized consular services. Please see below for a more complete listing of services.

The American Citizen Services hours are open on a walk-in basis:

In case of a life or death emergency involving a United States citizen, call the duty officer at (242)328-2206. The duty officer is available 24 hours a day outside normal business hours and on weekends and holidays.
