Dawn Crosby, MBA made her second trip to Nassau as a follow up to her visit in April of this year.  Mrs. Crosby has over eighteen years of business, NGO management experience and is currently employed by Abt Associates.  She currently serves as the Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean for the Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) initiative.

Mrs. Crosby conducted three Strategic Planning workshops with the Bahamas National Drug Council and Bahamas Drug Secretariat, and thirty NGO’s from Nassau, Freeport and Eleuthera.  The workshop was designed to help organizations create a mission, vision, and identify their strengths and weaknesses.  During the workshops organizations were able to recognize that strength lies in numbers, they must pool their resources and market their successes to increase overall awareness with their community.
