United States Chargé d’Affaires John Dinkelman paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Transport and Aviation, The Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin on Thursday, August 2, 2012.  The meeting provided an opportunity for both officials to discuss key bilateral issues impacting both nations in the areas of air, sea and ground transportation. With the close proximity of The Bahamas to the United States, the Chargé used the opportunity to reiterate the U.S. Embassy’s continued commitment to work with the Government of The Bahamas to strengthen security cooperation and border protection.
